Custom Max FOV

It seems, for both Epic Games and Steam users, video.scr, the file you need to edit to give yourself a custom max FOV, is located in C:/Users/[PC_USERNAME]/documents/DyingLight/out/settings

You can edit this file with any text editor (Notepad, Visual Studio Code, Vim etc)—it's just some text/script file with a .scr extension.

FAQ
How do I find my Steam user ID?

Just open C:/Program Files (x86)/Steam/userdata and use your discretion.
Mine seems to be the same as my friend code. There aren't many subfolders here. It wasn't difficult to identify.

I copied and pasted my save files, but the game won't recognize them. What do I do?

If you would like the game to acknowledge the save files you are pasting, you must be replacing .sav files that were generated by the game. So:

  1. Launch the game.
  2. Create some new save file via the main menu.
  3. Exit.
  4. Replace the .sav file created in-game with a .sav file of your choice.

This is how I successfully transferred my Epic Games save files to Steam. I created multiple new save files in the Steam version (in-game), then I just pasted all my Epic Games save files.
